For the very best quality print, please first consider the photographic prints and enlargements that are listed at the top of the product guide. A photographic print is what you would get back from a photographic laboratory and will provide longevity as well as print quality.
Inkjet prints provide very similar print quality and as they can be produced immediately, they are the best option where a speedy turnaround is required. We are able to offer Inkjet prints while you wait at our Track Shop at Arena Essex. An Inkjet print is, however, more sensitive to its surroundings and is more susceptible to fading, particularly if kept in cold, damp conditions, such as a workshop or garage. Kept at room temperature, out of sunlight, it should last many years, but certainly does not carry the similar 60 year guarantee offered by photographic prints.
A laser laminated print is a print obtained from a state of the art colour photocopier. This is by far the cheapest option and large sizes, such as A3, can be obtained at a third of the price of a photographic print. Our laser prints are laminated to add extra strength and durability to them. Although very good, the quality of the image is nowhere near the quality of our other options. Laser prints are ideal for display in the workshop or garage, the extra durability afforded by the lamination process makes them very hard wearing. They are also popular for kids bedrooms and as temporary displays.
In short we would always recommend photographic prints above all others. Inkjet prints are ideal when you need prints in a hurry and where they will be displayed in the home. Laser prints are the most hardwearing and budget conscious of the options.
