Now we visit Rye House stadium and a very lively Banger affair from 27th September 1997. The first few pics are of the legendary Mick Cotton in his usual choice of classic! We then see the wrecked car of Chris Reed and the destroyed car of Darren Hall, with its rear axle having parted company. Then we see three views of the follow in that Dave "Kingy" King dished out to Paul "Gizmo" Totham which earned the former a ban. Jerry "Bleach" Ansell gets stuck into Keith "Maverick" Painter in the next shot whilst I think it is Terry Williams who has had the close encounter with an infield flagpole. Jack France gives Maverick a lift in the next picture, then we see the Mick Jeffs car after a heavy T-Bone. Martin "Bruno" Brunson goes for an expedition across the tyre ridden infield next and then Neil "Doom" Peters gets a heavy hit from Mark "Tombo" Thomas. Finally we see James Dodge blitzing Mark "Marco" Glenister to get through a track blockage. Rye House sadly closed to Stock Car/Banger racing in 2000.
