Here we visit Donington. I am a little unsure of the date but think it was 8th or 9th July 1995. Former Grand Prix driver, Alessandro Nannini was attempting to qualify his German Touring Car Alfa Romeo when he comprehensively destroyed it on the run down the Craner Curves. Alessandro's Grand Prix career ended when he was involved in a bad helicopter crash in 1990 but his comeback in Touring cars netted several wins. Meanwhile, at the time of writing, Motorsport enthusiasts hope that Donington can be brought back from the brink now that the operating company have failed to land the Grand Prix and left the site decimated.
