This is a famous crash from the British F3 Championship. Oswaldo Negri Jnr used Marcel Albers as the launch pad in this spectacular smash at Silverstone in 1991. The crash was caught perfectly on TV at the time and regularly made the highlight reels for weeks afterwards! I'm sure it can still be found on YouTube. Negri has gone on to have quite a distinguished career in Motorsport. Since 2004 he has been a regular in the Grand Am Sportscar series in the States, prior to that he had been a much sought after test & development driver following his Pan American Indy Lights championship victory in 1998 and front running form in Formula 3 prior to that. Unfortunately the other driver in the pictures, Marcel Albers, was killed during round 3 of the British Formula 3 Championship in 1992 at Thruxton in Hampshire.
