Not the best set of photos I ever took, but I used to make quick a few trips up to picturesque Oulton Park in Cheshire and this crash happened on 23rd September 1989 at the Knickerbrook corner, which at that time was a fantastic challenge, until they plonked a chicane in it!  The series was certainly the Renault 5 Challenge and thanks to David Addison for confirming the driver was Paul Donantonio. Thankfully Paul was uninjured.
