This is Hednesford on 9th July 1989 and a lively affair from the Brisca F1 Stock Cars. Firstly a big smash on the back straight (now the home straight) involving Rob Cowley (on his side) and Bill Bullock (15) who has heavy damage. The day got even worse for Cowley as he came out later in the meeting only to have a heavy collision with the West Bend fence. Meanwhile, in our other picture, Gary Coyle (345) was also in the wars at the same meeting, removing his front axle a little bit further down the straight.
