RacePixels was set up by oval racing photographer Matthew Bull in 2007. Matt has covered the short ovals for 30 years. He was originally the official photographer at the Incarace tracks of Hednesford and Birmingham but a move South led to him taking up official photographer roles at Arena Essex, Mildenhall Stadium and Arlington Stadium, Eastbourne. He also has an official presence at many other tracks within the Spedeworth / Incarace organisation and makes occasional visits to other tracks such as Kings Lynn, Stansted and Standlake. Quite often these days he is assisted by 15 year old son Lewis - who has been taking pictures since he was 6 and gets very good results from the spectator terracing. He has grown somewhat from the picture and now towers above his dad. His pictures already appear in several publications. Matthew is the editor and publisher for the Spedeworth, Incarace and Mildenhall's programme - Spedeweek. He also writes features and supplies photos for several Motor Sport newspapers and magazines.

Due to pressure of work only Matthew and Lewis' photographs now are regularly uploaded to the RacePixels website, together with Graham Utting, who's work at Yarmouth would otherwise largely go unpublished. However a number of other photographers contributed to RacePixels in the past and their photos may be available in some of the older galleries.
